Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Monday met former Chief Minister of the state and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot and inquired about his well-being.

Writing on 'X', Sharma wrote, "Today, as former Chief Minister of the state @ashokgehlot51 fell ill, I visited his residence and inquired about his well-being. I pray to God for his speedy recovery."

Gehlot has been advised by his doctors to take complete rest as he is suffering from a slipped disc problem.

Meanwhile, the Congress leader also took to his 'X' handle and said, "Today, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma came to my residence to inquire about my well-being."

Ashok Gehlot was earlier seen in a wheelchair during the Lok Sabha elections.

Due to slipped disc problem he had to cancel some of his election rallies.

Earlier, Congress leader and former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot also wished Gehlot's speedy recovery.

Pilot had said, "I have received the news of the ill health of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot ji. I pray to God for your speedy recovery."
