Jaipur: A Class 10 student suffering from a heart ailment fainted at a school in Rajasthan's Dausa district and died on Saturday, a day after his birthday. Police gave this information.

Bandikui police station in-charge Prem Chand said doctors suspected that 16-year-old Yatendra Upadhyay had suffered a heart attack, but the exact cause of death would be known only after the postmortem, for which the boy's family members did not consent. Is.

He said the private school administration took Upadhyay to Bandikui Sub-District Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The SHO said Upadhyay was undergoing treatment for a heart ailment and had celebrated his birthday on July 5.

Doctor Pawan Jarwal, who was on duty at the hospital, said, "The school staff brought the boy to the hospital. When he was brought, he had no heartbeat. We performed CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) but to no avail."

"His family members said he had a heart condition. He did not give consent for postmortem and this was conveyed to the police," he said.

Police said the boy's family members have told them that they will perform his last rites at their native village in Alwar.
