New Delhi: A cab driver and two others were seriously injured when a speeding luxury car hit their vehicle here. Police gave this information on Sunday.

Police said the incident occurred in the morning when a speeding Jaguar hit the cab and two other vehicles before stopping near Dhaula Kaun area of ​​south-west Delhi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) said, "A PCR call was received at around 4.55 am regarding a three-vehicle accident and three injured persons. A team sent to the spot found that the injured were shifted to some unknown hospitals. Has been given." Rohit Meena said.

Later at 8.32 am, police received information from AIIMS Hospital about the cab driver, Harjeet Singh, and two others who were traveling in the same cab, DCP Meena said.

"We have identified the owner of the Jaguar car, who fled from the spot after the accident. Teams have been sent to nab the accused," he said.

DCP Meena said investigation is underway and police are trying to find out if more people were injured in the accident.
