Dumka (Jharkhand): A 29-year-old state IRB constable died after falling from the railing of a three-storey barrack in Jharkhand's Dumka district on Monday, police said.
The incident took place in the morning at State Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) No. 1 located in Nakati village under Mufassil police station of the district.
The jawan was identified as Emmanuel Tellara, a resident of Ramseli village in Latehar district.
Mofussil police station in-charge Nitish Kumar said that they are investigating the case to find out the actual cause of his death.
"Prima facie it appears that he may have sat on the railing of the roof of the three-storey barrack and fallen," he said.
