An official statement said the Lieutenant Governor discussed with the ambassador the investment potential of Jammu and Kashmir in various sectors such as industry, tourism, start-ups, handlooms, handicrafts, food processing, agriculture and allied sectors.

“Jammu and Kashmir is on the verge of becoming a remarkable success story among Indian states and a global model for socio-economic development,” the LG said.

He also invited business and trade leaders from Czech Republic to explore the unlimited opportunities present in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that progressive reforms and futuristic policy interventions have established Jammu and Kashmir as a preferred destination for investors from across the world.

"Alisa Jigova reiterated the Czech Republic's commitment to deepening partnership with India with a dedicated focus on promoting mutual development and cooperation," the statement said.
