Nepal's Foreign Ministry said on Friday that Japan's Foreign Affairs Minister Yoko Kamikawa will pay a one-day visit to Kathmandu on May 5.

“Yoko will meet Foreign Minister Narayan Qazi Shrestha and hold bilateral talks. A statement from the Ministry of External Affairs said that during her visit, she will also pay a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

She is visiting Nepal at the invitation of Shrestha, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister.

The Foreign Minister said that Yoko is scheduled to depart from Kathmandu on the same day.
