Police reported on Tuesday (June 25) that a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and raped several times over a period by a group of people at Neredmet in Hyderabad.
The police had registered a case after the survivor's mother lodged a complaint at the Kachiguda police station on Monday, June 24. After this, the police began an investigation.
Kachiguda police station sub-inspector Subhash said, "On June 24, the victim's mother lodged a complaint against five people. The girl is originally from Kachiguda and has a boyfriend who stays in Neredmet. Her boyfriend took her outside many times. sometimes on a bicycle, one day, her boyfriend allegedly sexually assaulted her in Neredmet."
"After a few days, he introduced her to her friends and they also sexually assaulted her. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway," the police officer said.
Earlier this month, a sub-inspector of the Kaleshwaram police station in Bhupalpally was arrested on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting a female officer, according to police.
According to the police, the accused and the victim reside in the same premises. Based on the complaint filed earlier by the officer, a case has been registered against sub-inspector Bhavani Sen and investigation is underway.
Bhupalpally deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Sampath Rao said, "We have registered an FIR against Kaleshwaram sub-inspector PVS Bhavani Sen, 46, and an investigation is underway. The victim is a female police constable, 42 years old, who works at the same police station, reside in the same premises. The victim lives on the ground floor and the officer lives on the second floor. This incident occurred on the night of June 15 and also on the night of June 16. petition. The victim has been sent for a medical examination.
