Kumarganj (West Bengal), West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday alleged that the BJP is targeting her and her nephew and TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and they do not feel safe.

His allegation comes a day after Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Suvendu Adhikari said there will be a "big explosion" on Monday that will shake the TMC and its top leaders.

He said, "BJP is targeting me and Abhishek, we are not safe, but we are also not afraid of the conspiracy of the saffron party. We urge all of us to remain alert against the conspiracy against TMC leaders and the people of West Bengal." We do."

The TMC supremo was addressing an election rally in favor of party candidate and minister of state Biplab Mitra in Kumarganj of Balurghat Lok Sabha seat.Responding to Adhikari's remarks, the TMC supremo said, "There is a traitor who has joined the BJP to protect his family and ill-gotten property. Let me tell him, his threat to explode chocolate bombs will not be accepted by us." Consider it insulting.”

Adhikari, a former TMC minister, joined the BJP ahead of the 2021 assembly elections in the state.

“If you have courage, bring out the truth, bring out the facts. I think it will take time for you to spin a completely false story, to create a complete conspiracy, but rest assured we are ready to combat,” she said."We will counter them by bursting crackers. For us, the crackers are highlighting the anomalies in the PM Cares Fund and the 'jumla' of depositing Rs 15 lakh in every citizen's bank account. They only spread lies," he said.

The TMC supremo alleged that the BJP was bringing in outsiders to create trouble in the state.

Banerjee accused the Narendra Modi government of painting independent institutions like Doordarshan in saffron color and claimed that BJ's "adopting that colour" is an insult to the centuries of sacrifice made by the country's monks and spiritual leaders. He wondered how Doordarshan's logo could be colored saffron during elections, alleging that it was done to suit the BJP's "religion-based vote restriction politics and agenda".

He asked, "Why did the DD logo suddenly turn saffron? Why were the official residences of armed personnel painted saffron? Why were the police uniforms in Kashi (Varanasi) changed to saffron colour?"

The Chief Minister claimed that if the BJP returned to power, there would be no more elections in future and the religious rights of many communities would be in danger.

In another meeting of BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar in Balurghat, the Lok Sabha constituency, Banerjee said that the Covid vaccination certificate has only the photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“He only believes in self-promotion. He believes in making big claims and hearing them himself.,

Accusing Majumdar of maintaining silence on non-payment of 100 days' work to former village laborers and non-release of housing scheme funds by the Mod government, he said, "Your (Majumdar) party leaders are trying to stop payment from the owners in Delhi. Are asking for.” To the poor."

Pointing to the officer, he said, there is a "traitor" who is predicting raids by CBI, ED and NIA and arrest of opposition leaders.

“He himself joined the BJP to save his skin and is now scaring people with the pretext of central agency raids,” he claimed.

Banerjee said that the wife of jailed former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren had told her that the ED in its charge sheet has accused him of taking a washing machine and a TV set as gifts. He wondered whether the objects found in the men's homes could be described as gifts.

Banerjee forgave a piece of paper saying it was a copy of an FIR against the Central Armed Paramilitary Force for attacking the villagers.

He alleged that two days ago a team of the force raided a border village in South Dinajpur district and beat up villagers when they refused to promise support to the BJP.

She said, “I am urging the Election Commission to stop the BSF from violating its role by terrorizing the villagers instead of protecting the border and stopping smuggling."
