Noida (UP): A woman's family got her husband of five years killed by hired men after he allegedly married her against her will, police said here on Saturday.

While probing the case of a man found dead on June 16, police investigation found that the woman's father and uncle had allegedly hired four people to kill her husband, he said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Suniti said that on June 16, the body of an unknown person was found near Sangam Vihar Colony of Ecotech-3 police station area, who was later identified as Bhulesh Kumar, a resident of Sambhal district. The DCP said that later his autorickshaw was also found missing.

Suniti told that Bhulesh's family has filed a case against his wife Preeti Yadav's father Buddha Singh Yadav, brother Mukesh Yadav and friend Shripal. The officer said that five years ago Preeti had married Bhulesh against the wishes of the family.

During investigation, police learned that Preeti's father Buddha Singh Yadav and uncle Kharak Singh had allegedly conspired and given contract to four boys from their neighboring village Mandoli to kill Bhulesh, the DCP said.

Suniti said investigation revealed that four accused - Awadhesh, Neeraj Yadav, Yashpal and Titu came to Noida and allegedly strangulated Bhulesh and took away his autorickshaw.

The DCP said the vehicle used in connection with the alleged incident, the towel used for strangulation, jewelery worth Rs 3 lakh received in retaliation for the murder have also been recovered from the accused.
