In the incident recorded by the closed circuit television (CCTV) camera installed in the city bus, two goons are seen entering the bus at Suraj Nagar intersection and beating up the driver. They also beat up the conductor who tried to save the driver.
The bus conductor was also seen fighting with the miscreants in his defence. However, they caught him and beat him.
In the video of the incident that went viral, it is seen that the female passengers were scared.
City buses are the lifeline for the citizens of Bhopal and people in the state capital will have to wait for at least the next one and a half years for metro rail services.
Even if rail metro service starts in the city, it will cover one or two routes.
