June 28, 2024, New Delhi: Hon'ble Minister Bhupathiraju Srinivas Varma, Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel, Government of India, witnessed the largest Logistics and Supply Chain Management Summit in Delhi on June 28, 2024, presented by ET Edge in collaboration with Mahindra Logistics, strategic partner Oracle and co-presented by DTDC Express.

At the summit, Mr. Varma emphasized the plans for the logistics industry and the need to focus heavily on optimizing the supply chain for a sustainable and competitive Indian steel industry. He shared insights on the importance of focusing firmly on reducing the carbon footprint in this sector.

The event featured specialized masterclasses in various fields, including risk management, Blockchain technology in the supply chain, supply chain digitalization, sustainable practices and supply chain financing, taught by experts in the matter of the industry.

In addition to sessions on supply chain, the summit also focused on other growing industries such as manufacturing and heavy engineering, consumer goods, retail and e-commerce, and cold chain and storage.
