Chandigarh: A BJP OBC Morcha leader, an Akali Dal leader and NSUI Punja vice president joined AAP in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday amid the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP's Other Backward Class (OBC) Morcha secretary Kuldeep Singh Shanti and Scheduled Caste (SC) wing (Doaba) general secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal Gurdarshan Lal were welcomed by Mann into the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Party statement.

AAP's Jalandhar Lok Sabha candidate Pawan Kumar Tinu and senior party leader Rajwinder Kaur Thiara were present during his induction ceremony.

According to the statement, Mann said that people from every section of Punjab are joining AAP because they are impressed by the work of the AAP government in the last two years.

He further said that the party will create history by winning all the 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab.

National Student Union of India (NSUI) Punjab vice president Rahu Sharma also joined AAP on the occasion, the party said, adding that he was inducted into the party B Man in the presence of AAP Punjab general secretary Jagroop Singh Sekhwan.
