Mumbai: Bollywood actress Noor Malabika Das, who starred in the 2023 web series 'The Trail', allegedly committed suicide at her flat in Oshiwara here, police said on Monday.
The 31-year-old actor's mutilated body was found on Friday evening after neighbors complained of a foul smell coming from his apartment, an official said.
Das co-starred with Bollywood actor Kajol in the 2023 web series 'The Trial'.
Investigations have revealed that the actress committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her flat on Tuesday evening and a neighbor informed the police about the foul smell, he said.
The police team broke the door and searched the body and found a table and rope at the spot, the officer said.
Das was suffering from depression and was taking medication, he said.
The officer said no suicide note was recovered from the spot and an accidental death report (ADR) has been registered.
