There have been reports of fresh violence from Jiribam in the last few days.

Speaking about the recently held Lok Sabha elections, Bhagwat said that the results are out and the government has been formed, so unnecessary discussions on what and how it happened etc. can be avoided. The RSS does not indulge in discussions like "how did it happen, what happened", he said, adding that the organization only does its duty to create awareness on the need for voting.

He stressed the need for consensus between the ruling party and the opposition so that work can be done for the common good (of the people).

Bhagwat said, elections are to get majority and it is a competition, not a war.

He said that political parties and leaders who abuse each other are not paying attention to the fact that this can create a rift between communities and regretted that the RSS has also been dragged into this without any reason. going.

The RSS chief said there are always two sides in elections but there should be dignity in not resorting to lies to win.He said, lies were spread using technology (an apparent reference to deepfakes etc.).

Bhagwat also expressed concern over the road rage incidents happening in the country.

He said, “Indian society is diverse, but everyone knows that it is one society and they also accept its diversity. Everyone should move forward unitedly and respect each other's method of worship.'' He said that due to the injustice that has been going on for thousands of years, distance has come between people. ,

He said that the invaders came to India and brought their ideology with them, which some people also followed, but it is good that the culture of the country is not affected by this ideology. He said that goodness and humanity should be adopted in religions like Islam and Christianity and followers of all religions should respect each other as brothers and sisters.

Bhagwat said, everyone should move forward believing that this country is ours and all the people born on this land are our own.

The RSS chief said that the thinking of some people that only these foreign ideologies are true should be ended.

Emphasizing that one should forget the past and accept everyone as one's own, he said that casteism should be completely uprooted.
