"To keep the Krishi Upaj Mandi system in order, top officials should conduct surprise inspections of the scales, financial transactions and other systems of the Mandi. He directed that necessary amendments be made in the provisions on construction and use of warehouses to ensure the interests of farmers.

CM Yadav also highlighted the diverse climatic conditions, soil types and crops of the state, and attributed the state's leading position in agricultural development to the tireless efforts of farmers.

He pointed out that the state ranks first in the country in area and production of legumes and oilseeds. Continuous efforts are being made to increase the income of farmers and make farming a profitable activity.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of taking necessary corrective measures to ensure that maximum marginal and small farmers benefit from the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Furthermore, he emphasized that all possible efforts should be made under the Rani Durgavati Shri Anna Promotion Scheme to increase the production of nutritious millets and encourage farmers producing them.

"Crop diversification should be encouraged to replace rice and wheat with other profitable crops. Crops that do not depend on public procurement and whose price is linked to market and export demand should be promoted," the CM said.

Pointing out the need to encourage organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers, CM Yadav directed to present an action plan related to expansion of natural farming in all areas of the state.
