Munich: Indian shooter Isha Singh qualified for the women's 25m pistol final at the ISSF World Cup after scoring 293 points in the qualification round here on Sunday.

Isha's effort gave her sixth place, but compatriot Rhythm Sangwan, who finished second in the 10m air pistol trials, could only score 281 and finished 68th on the first day of the competition.

Sandeep Singh, who had topped the national trials in 10m air rifle, missed qualification by finishing ninth with a score of 631.4.

Divyansh Panwar finished 12th with a score of 631.2 while Rudraksh Patil finished 17th with a score of 630.7.

However, the best Indian in performance was Arjun Babuta, who scored 635.1 while shooting only for ranking points (RPO). His overall score of the day was the second best in this event.

In women's air rifle, Ramita continued her impressive performance with 633.0 to finish fourth in the finals.

The other two Indian contenders Tilottama Sen and Elavenil Valarivan finished 30th and 45th with scores of 629.3 and 628.3 respectively.

Ramita's final is to be held on Monday.
