New Delhi: Swedish beauty brand Oriflame said India is one of its top priority markets and it plans to onboard one million partners in the next five years.

According to a statement from the company, the company aims to promote micro entrepreneurship and promote startup culture across the country.

It said this ambitious target is completely in line with India's development path and the Government of India's emphasis on job creation and self-reliance.

It added, "Oriflame is committed to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit. By enabling individuals to become brand partners, the brand inculcates an entrepreneurial ethos and empowers the workforce, especially women."

It said that under its Make-in-India initiative, Oriflame is setting up R&D capabilities here to produce products designed for Indian consumers.
