Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh) [India], A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan from Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh lost his life during the ongoing anti-terrorist operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district on Wednesday.

The CRPF jawan was identified as Kabir Das Uike, resident of Pulpuldoh village in Chhindwara. He was seriously injured in an encounter that took place in Saida Sukhal village of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening and later died.

A senior police officer said that on Tuesday evening, terrorists attacked a house in Saida Sukhal village of Hiranagar, Kathua. A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan and two terrorists were killed in an encounter between terrorists and security personnel.Kathua Chief Medical Officer Dr Vijay Raina said today, "Last night a CRPF jawan was brought to the hospital dead. Our entire team of doctors is present here to deal with any situation. Post-mortem will be conducted."

On the Hiranagar-Kathua attack, CRPF jawan's brother Amir Uike told ANI, "He was my elder brother. This morning we were told that my brother is serious. I left the village for Chhindwara. Then we were told that he was He died. I spoke to him yesterday and we had a general discussion.He was due to come on leave soon, around June 16-17."

He said that he got married in 2021 and has no children.

According to the information, Kabir Das Uike was the eldest of four siblings (two brothers and two sisters). His sisters are married and his younger brother is not married yet. The CRPF jawan is survived by his mother, wife and younger brother. The young man's father had passed away.
