New Delhi, CK Birla Group company Orient Electric on Thursday announced the appointment of RS Negi as Managing Director and CEO.
According to the company's regulatory filing, its Vice Chairman and Managing Director Desh Deepak Khetrapal has resigned.
Negi's appointment will be effective from May 31, 2024.
He will also join the Orient Electric board as a whole-time director and will be based in New Delhi.
In his last assignment, Negi was Chief Operating Officer – Consumer Products at Bajaj Electricals.
He is also the former president of the Indian Fans Manufacturers Association (IFMA). Prior to this, he was the head of Havells' Electric Consumer Durables business.
