Guwahati: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said Yaba tablets worth over Rs 66 crore were seized in a huge drug haul on Wednesday and three smugglers were arrested from Assam's Karimganj district.

Sarma wrote, "Breaking the backbone of the drugs network! In a separate incident, 36,000 yaba pills were seized from a vehicle in Karbi Anglong district, he said.

The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Assam Police towards making the state drug free.
