New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA) has collaborated with state-run Prasar Bharati for a weekly program on DD Bharat that will showcase various dimensions of India's rich culture, officials said on Saturday.

IGNCA comes under the purview of the Ministry of Culture.

"This unique initiative is an important step where a government institution presents its work to the public," IGNCA said.

A senior official said that IGNCA aims to showcase various dimensions of India's rich culture through this weekly cultural program on Doordarshan every Sunday.

"IGNCA's Media Center will carry out this work. Its objective is to present to the public the living thread of India's art, traditions and stories every week."
