My Favourite Tourist Destination of Jammu Division - An online competition for different categories exploring Jammu Region.

The Jammu Directorate of Tourism, in collaboration with INFOBUG, has organized an online competition called "My Favourite Tourist Destination of Jammu Division." This competition aims to explore different categories within the Jammu Region. The event is open for entries from September 1st to September 23rd, 2023. The winners will be announced and honored on September 27th, 2023, which is celebrated as "World Tourism Day." The competition focuses solely on the Jammu Division and aims to showcase its rich art, culture, handcrafts, local cuisines, poetry, and other unique attractions. This event is the first of its kind and provides a platform for individuals to showcase their talents and foster a sense of belonging to the roots of Jammu. The various categories of the event include photography (with subcategories such as scenic, border tourism, pilgrimage circuits, heritage sites, adventure tourism, wildlife tourism, and agro-tourism), videography/reels (with similar subcategories), local cuisines with descriptions and recipes, local ethnic products, traditional attire, handmade jewelry, cultural traits/traditions, tagline captions for destinations across Jammu region, Jammu ki Boliyaan (poetry, short stories, essays, descriptive articles, and notes), and local art and craft, handloom, and handicraft products with their historical background.
