The BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, located in the Askharwadi locality of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, is situated 4 km away from Bhavnagar Railway Station. Positioned on Waghawadi road, it is a renowned BAPS Mandir in Gujarat and a popular destination in Bhavnagar. Established in 2006, the BAPS Swaminarayan temple is a significant religious site that has been serving as a center for enlightenment, education, and entertainment for many years. The Diwali Mahotsav is held annually on the temple premises, featuring a 5-day celebration in accordance with the Gujarati Calendar. As per Indian tradition, the Annakoot Utsav is observed on the first day of the New Year, where a variety of dishes are offered to the almighty God who nourishes all. This festival is celebrated with great devotion at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir Aksharwadi Bhavnagar, attracting a large number of city residents and prominent leaders who come to witness the Annakoot feast consisting of over 500 dishes.
