BasCon, short for "Basar Confluence," serves as a community-driven tourism festival aimed at maximizing the tourism opportunities in the region for socio-economic growth and environmental conservation. The festival highlights the tribal art, culture, and heritage of the tribes from Arunachal Pradesh and other regions of the country. The entire community of Leparada district actively participates in organizing this event. The parent organization, Gumin Rego Kilaju (GRK), ensures that the profits generated from the festival are distributed among the stakeholders, primarily the community, and are utilized for their development initiatives.
